The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Care

17:00

I had read lots of things across the internet saying how good the tea tree range was from The Body Shop, as well as getting several recommendations from friends. At the time it didn't really appeal to me, purely because I had great skin and didn't want to run the risk of ruining that by introducing new products to my skincare regime. I had very sensitive skin, so even the kindest of products can end up having horrible effects on my face.

However, shortly afterwards that all changed, my face was plagued with under the skin spots, which wouldn't budge no matter what I did. They didn't hurt or look red, it was just as if they were sat there waiting to make an appearance, but were different to mila spots which I've had (and successfully got rid of) in the past. So I decided that giving it a go couldn't really do much harm.

I picked up the targeted gel, anti-imperfection daily solution, the night lotion and skin clearing clay mask. I used up the targeted gel pretty quickly, it did a great job of drying out the spots that were already very visible on my skin, but there was hardly any product that I didn't see the point in repurchasing. For £7 it just ran out too quickly.

The daily solution and night lotion were also great, I still use them now, although they cause havoc with any patches of dry skin on my face. Whenever that is the case, applying them makes my skin so sore, to the point where the dry patches feel like they are burning, so I have to be really careful with how I apply it. For this reason, I'm undecided whether I would repurchase or not - it doesn't suit my skin in some respects but does in others.

I haven't used the clay mask many times, maybe 3 or 4, simply because it recommends on the packaging to use 1 - 2 times a week. I don't want to over use but I haven't tried it enough times to makes a full opinion on it, other than the fact that my skin feels great after using it!

There are lots of other products in the range, so if you're considering trying any out, then I would definitely recommend looking into the products to find those which you think would suit your skin and need more. Or by going into store and asking the staff for advice, they can also suggest lots of great products from other ranges for you to try.

Let me know what you think of The Body Shop Tea Tree range and how you got along with it!
