I owned so many foundations that I decided it was time to start using some up and just repurchasing the ones which I actually use. The one I had been using up until recently was the BECCA Aqua Luminous Foundation.

When I first started using it, I loved it. It was only a light coverage but it worked really well with my concealer and just overall made my skin look great. It comes in a quite a large shade range, and the shade I had matched my skin perfectly.

After a few weeks of using it, my skin started to become really dry and I was getting so many spots, as soon as they were gone, more would just appear. I swapped out all my makeup products except my foundation and nothing changed, so I stopped using this foundation and now my skin is so much better!

I am a little bit gutted that it broke me out, I really liked this foundation but obviously aren't going to risk it giving me more and more spots every time I use it. This is the first time any makeup product has broke me out, although I have really sensitive skin, I have always been lucky.

However, this doesn't mean that any product which has this affect on your skin is bad, some products and ingredients just don't agree with some peoples skin. So I would still recommend this foundation to anyone who is wanting a light coverage foundation, just bear in mind that products react different on some people - this may be fine on your skin and something which works fine on me, may not on you!
